Project Team
Project Manager/Construction Administrator: Kevin Sack
Job Captain: Mengying Bai

The Assignment: Our team of Greg Shain, Lisa Zeder and Joy Stowell started with us from day one, working together to design a new, open-concept, two-story farmhouse with garage attached by breezeway, a detached pavilion, detached gym, a pool and gardens. The first design of a larger home with a basement was budgeted, and then value-engineered: the final design removed the basement and the house was reduced.

Currently: Construction is underway! Metal roofing has been laid and waterproofing has been applied at the main house, and shop drawings for the exterior siding and cabinets are under review. The pool has been excavated and is in progress as well.

Standout Details: Oak hardwood floors by Exquisite Surfaces; custom white oak siding; custom steel fireplaces, weathered shake roofing and steel pergola over exterior dining area.

Sustainable Features: Thermal insulation, efficient heating systems, tankless water heaters, energy-efficient appliances, PV solar panels, EV charging stations, permeable landscape, vegetable gardens, and a cistern with underground irrigation drip system to recycle collected greywater are intended.
