The Assignment: Rebuild an existing home and ADU lost in the Palisades fire. Inspired by the owners’ previous home, the new home is to be designed in a contemporary “English Arts & Crafts” style with a new attached garage and basement.

Currently: We are beginning the Design Development phase. In this phase, we will finalize the exterior elevations, develop the interior spaces, and engage engineers in preparation for City submittal.

Standout Details: Light-filled center stair connecting all floor levels; stacked closets for future elevator to accommodate aging-in-place needs; indoor-outdoor access for entertaining; fire-resistant material selection.

Sustainable Features: Proposed features include permeable hardscape, PV solar, EV charger, and natural ventilation.
